Location: Tampa, Florida


Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Manager of Human Capital (HC) to provide a full scope of HC support for employees across five Southeast Coastal States. This position requires about 30% travel and will be located in Tampa, FL.

Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities

  • Provide overall Human Capital responsibility for exempt and non-exempt teams.
  • Responsible for performance management, HC communications and overall HC compliance
  • Be a member of the leadership team and work with leaders to understand human capital issues within the area of responsibility, develop solutions, and secure necessary resources.
  • Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Process HC documents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and facilitate onboarding process.
  • Respond to and route employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist with appropriate routing of employee relation issues.
  • Support employee recognition activities.
  • Contribute to and maintain HRIS data.
  • Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regard to employment basics and company policy through coaching, presentations and training.
  • Generate and prepare identified HC reports as required.
  • Educate employees regarding company benefits.
  • Performing exit interviews and processing termination documents.


  • Minimum 5 years HC leadership experience with a strong background in employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Capital related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, process orientation, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong ability to work in changing environment and manage through complexity.
  • Outstanding influence in change management and coaching skills. Proven experience in developing and coaching a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization for effective results.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with a demonstrated history of business partnership.
  • Broad human capital functional knowledge.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • CPCU or CIC certification a plus

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • HC Certification from SHRM or HRCI.
  • 10 or more years of HC leadership experience.
